The voice of his generation


Ibrahim Nasrallah is considered one of the most influential voices of his generation. Raised in a refugee camp to Palestinian parents, he became a journalist before turning to creative writing. He is the author of fourteen novels.

Time of White Horses, shortlisted for the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, is what Jordanian-Palestinian intellectual Salma Khadra Jayyusi calls “Truly the novel that the Palestinian catastrophe has awaited.”

The translator is award-winning Nancy Roberts.
